In partnership with German retailer Aldi Süd, Riesling star Johannes Leitz brings his wine to the shelves of the market-leading food discounter. All while chiming with the zeitgeist, his bottles arrive in the middle of Aldi’s latest quality offensive, in which he has nevertheless to assert himself with his new brand wine alongside other top winemakers and brand products.
In order to achieve this, Leitz and Fuenfwerken have created a wine brand for the hand-made and homemade Leitz Rheingau Riesling that immediately positions itself at the top of Aldi’s range. Through authentic storytelling, we communicate the unique terroir of the Rheingau and its character-giving soils directly on the label, which in paper and refinement offers considerable value that is impossible to confound.
