Good Design: Three Awards From DDC

30. November 2017

„Good Design“ – a simple, but significant compliment that is to be received in the design competition of the German Designer’s Club (DDC e.V.). The latter is a household name: Founded in 1989, the DDC is the leading club for designers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the annual competition a well-renowned jury acknowledges good design in any discipline. Naturally we are happy that three of our projects are among this year’s finalists:

The success story GOLD, that documents the evolving partnership of Weber-Stephens and Fuenfwerken, culminating in the reception of the German Brand Award in gold: Eight years to rise from a tool to a lifestyle brand, impressively presented in both wording and imaging.

The art book „BROKEN TERRITORIES: HOLGER SCHMIDHUBER“, that continues the work the artist started with his identically named exhibition. It concentrates especially on the project’s disruptive aspect by combining extraordinary and high quality print work with augmented reality applications.

The corporate design of vineyard Goldatzel which we completely reinvented, reducing it to the core essentials but emphasising opulence where it matters.

Sorted by category, a complete list of winners can be found on the DDC’s website.
