Fuenfwerken is on a winning streak once again in 2010. Not once, not twice but three times we were awarded one of the world’s oldest and most coveted design prizes, the iF Awards of the International Forum Design Hanover.
In the digital media screen design section, the judges’ favorite was the website we conceived and designed for gourmet journalists, authors and brothers Cornelius and Fabian Lange: The winner in the print media image category was the humorous, inexpensive, creative, and indeed brilliant idea of our trainees to seek their successors via stamped Post-it notes in restrooms at Wiesbaden University, while reenacting grainy scenes from the cult video game “Space Invaders”.
We’re also especially pleased about the communication design award in print media promotion: the prize went to our Weber’s Original Days campaign, in which we presented the cult barbecue brand and with it Weber-Stephen as the inventor of the unique circular grill and got everyone in the mood for a real barbecue.
As communication design awards the three iF prizes show clearly that we’re not just fond of good design but love to communicate messages too. Which is why we are also grateful to our clients and business associates for their confidence and cooperation.
